The Coalition for Accountability and Integrity – AMAN appraised the efforts of the General Personnel Council to achieve integrity and transparency in the public service, especially after adopting the online examination system to achieve transparency and integrity and equality in opportunities.
AMAN has previously mentioned the lack of competition over regular services such as teaching and scholarships which is supervised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, emphasizing that such lack of competition is due to the lack of transparency in publishing services vacancies and the lack of the role of the General Personnel Council to monitor such posts issued by the Presidential office without further notice. Moreover, AMAN pointed out that most of the senior posts did not complete a job description card, all of which weaken the mechanism to control the integrity of appointments.
