The fight against corruption is deeply intertwined with reform across its various dimensions, whether administrative, financial, or political. At the core of meaningful reform lies the commitment to combating corruption and fostering integrity in governance. True and genuine reform cannot exist if private interests outweigh public welfare or if public office is used to pursue personal, partisan, regional, religious, or familial gains at the expense of the interest of the nation and its citizens.
The ministerial statement of the nineteenth government headed by Dr. Mohammad Mustafa included the government’s priorities agenda, which includes a set of domains identified as follows:
1. Relief, reconstruction, economic recovery, and social welfare system in the West Bank and Gaza.
2. Public finance, financial sustainability, and economic stability.
3. Institutional reform, restructuring and merging of institutions, combating corruption, improving the level of services, and digital transformation.
